Indian Institute of Foreign Trade under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce conducts the written examination commonly known as IIFT by MBA Aspirants. Most of the time IIFT is organized in the month of November/December every year. IIFT has two campuses which are in New Delhi and Kolkata and the third campus is coming up in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. IIFT is having the main Flagship Program as an MBA in International Business.

If you have a recognized Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 50% marks, then you are eligible for IIFT Exam 2019. Even those candidates who are appearing in the final year of graduation in 2019 are also eligible but with a rider, that proof has to be submitted by October 2020.
The glaring differentiator of IIFT exam is that no age limit has been set for the aspirants and it has been thought to give an equal platform to experienced and non-experienced students.
The IIFT examination is conducted for 2 hours in areas of Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Analysis, current affairs, and General Knowledge then the top of all you will be tested for grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension. The Application fee of IIFT remains Rs. 1650 whereas candidates, who come from SC / ST category, the application fee is downsized to Rs. 825 and even the minimum percentage of graduation are also slashed to 45%.
Most of the time the Quantitative Ability section continues to have on an average 21 questions followed by 22 in Analytical and Logical reasoning and Data Interpretation together. Further on an average 20 questions of Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension and here is a surprise and important analysis for you that general awareness section continue to have an average of 26 questions so this reflects that this section can prove to be tricky in IIFT exam. It will be good to note that this GK section in IIFT exam will have questions on International organizations like UNO/ WHO etc. IMF/ BRICKS/ G 20. You may also be asked questions on some sports events like coming Tokyo Olympics 2020, Wimbledon, and World Cup Cricket 2019, etc. You need to also know on Political events and many economy-related issues on FDI, FII, and WTO, etc. The MBA at IIFT institute can make you employable globally and the kind of exposure you get with the case studies at IIFT is second to none.
